CM: (Sahiwal coal power plant to be completed by 2017 end: Shahbaz)

ISLAMABAD: Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal met with Punjab Chief Minister Mohammad Shahbaz Sharif in Lahore on Sunday.

During the meeting, matters of mutual interest, situation in country and China-Pakistan Economic Corridor project came under discussion.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that C-PEC is a game changer project for the progress of Pakistan. He said that the projects under C-PEC will benefit both Pakistan as well as the whole region.

He said that work is in progress speedily on projects, under CPEC. He said that day and night work is being done on the 1320-MW Sahiwal coal power plant, which will be completed by end of next year.
