CM: (Shahbaz discusses progress on solar power project with Chinese company)

ISLAMABAD: The President of a renowned Chinese energy sector company, Mr Yu Yong called on Punjab Chief Minister Mohammad Shahbaz Sharif in Lahore on Sunday.

They discussed progress on the solar power project being set-up at Quaid-e-Azam Solar Park Bahawalpur. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said the projects under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) are great gifts for Pakistan from the Chinese government.

He said under CPEC, a huge investment worth $33 billion is being made in energy sector.
