CM visits Khuzdar

KHUZDAR: People of Balochistan have right over Gwadar Port. We are protecting resources from Reko Diq to Gwadar. Lands in Gwadar are property of Baloch people.

These views e expressed by Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch while addressing gathering at Municipal Committee here Sunday.

Earlier he was accorded warm welcome upon arrival at Khuzdar Airport today. Provincial Minster Sardar Aslam Bizenjo received him. Chief Minister was accompanied by provincial Adviser Khalid Langav, Spokesperson Jan Mohammad Buledi and Political adviser Khan Jan Baloch.

He said providing employment of our national responsibility. Khuzdar is at cross road of Gwadar-Rato Dero highway. With building of this highway people of Balochistan would have vast opportunities of employment. Installation of transmission line would promote agriculture. He said it was our government which completed projects closed for 15 year.

Addressing political and tribal elders who joined National party Chief Minister asked workers to strengthen the party. We would contest next elections with the power of people on the basis of our performance.

He said National party is democratic party. Three presidents were changed during 23 years. Traditional parties even can’t think of change of leadership. He said we made Khuzdar peaceful which was gripped by arson and blood.

He also inaugurated 29 link roads. Officers of C& W Department briefed Chief Minister on road and development projects.

Chief Minister said no impediment would be tolerated in the development process. He said no compromise would be made on quality of roads. He said we gave peace to Khuzdar and no compromise would be made on it.

He also inaugurated Balochistan University Campus. Addressing a ceremony at Khuzdar University campus Dr Malik Baloch said nations are forms with education and technology and not mere by slogans. He said examinations should not be conducted at Quetta but also at Turbat, Khuzdar and Loralai. He said children’s coming to Quetta for mere examinations should be stopped.

He directed administration to start admissions within two days.

Vice chancellor assured him that admissions to all the classes would begin within two days.

Chief Minister pointed out a specific coterie is behind establishing Boards.

He said funds would be provided for educational institutions on war footings. He said there is need for improving Khuzdar Degree College. He said we can become partners in the process of development. He said Rupees 200 million were provided for road sin Khuzdar. Similarly Rupees 50 million for University is big thing. He said building of Gwadar-Rato Dero would further increase importance of Khuzdar.
