Cold spell grips Balochistan

QUETTA: A cold spell has gripped Quetta valley and other parts of Balochistan Wednesday. Persisting cold spell slashed Maximum (day’s) temperature to 4.5 Celsius while minimum temperature was minus 3.5 Celsius.

According to details cold winds (Northwesterly) blew across the valley and other parts of Balochistan at a velocity 22 to 26 knots today.

Due to cold spell there was thin attendance in bazaars, markets and shopping centres. Traffic was also thin as people preferred to remained at their homes.

Met Office has predicted cold and dry weather with rain/thunderstorm at isolated places in Zhob and Quetta divisions.
