Commission to be constituted to implement PEMRA laws: Pervaiz

Islamabad: Information Minister Pervaiz Rasheed has said a commission is being worked out to ensure implementation of Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) laws.

Talking to media In Islamabad on Wednesday he said that matter relating to Geo TV is under consideration of PEMRA committee and the government does not want to interrupt its working.

He said decision of the committee will be final. He said PEMRA has given its point of view on the matter.

The minister said Commission regarding Media Code of Conduct will be constituted after PEMRA recommendations. He said taking all media owners on board is his responsibility regarding media code of conduct.
