Convict gets death sentence in triple murders

Karachi: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Tuesday awarded death sentence to a convict in the murder cases of three persons.

ATC judge found Mohamamd Ismail guilty of killing Arshad Khan, Mohamamd Siddique and Shahjahan on 19 February 2013.

ATC pronounced verdict after recording the statements of witnesses, evidences and hearing arguments from both sides. The accused was also convicted in illegal weapons possession case and he got five-year term in illicit weapons case.

According to the prosecution, the accused, Ismail had killed Arshad Khan Mohamamd Siddique and Shahjahan on 19 February 2013 within the jurisdiction of Sharafi Goth police station.
