Corruption: Minister summons report on crooked officers

KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Food and Mines and Minerals Manzoor Hussain Wasan on Monday summoned a report on officers of Food Department involved in corruption scandals.

He said this while issuing instructions to departmental officers at his office, where Secretary Food Laeeq Ahmed. Director Food Ahmed Ali Qureshi and other officers were present.

The minister asked to accelerate investigation process against the negligence and corrupt officers in his department. He said good workers should be appreciated to enhance the performance of department while the no irregularity and bribery would be tolerated.
