Country’s stability in democracy: CM

QUETTA: Country’s stability lies in democracy and it is sole solution to problems, difficulties and crises. All forces have to play role for strengthening democracy. These views were expressed by Balochistan chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch while speaking newly elected MPA Ghansham Das and National Party leaders here Monday.

Chief Minister said that guarantee of progress and prosperity of nations is on the strong democratic system. People and country have suffered punishment of undemocratic eras. To get rid of difficulties and problems it is necessary that intellectuals’, young and political leadership should play their positive role under prevailing situation. Youth of Balochistan have to turn to democratic political process from politics of extremism. He said provincial government was endeavouring to provide all facilities including higher education. They are future of our province. All available resources would be mobilized for their welfare.

He said no compromise would be made on democracy. He said strength of democracy is liked to atmosphere of progress, prosperity, peace and brotherhood in the country. He said undemocratic eras dragged the country to chaos, lawlessness , problems and crises. He said country was passing through most serious situation and it cannot afford any adventurism.
