Couple found dead in Karachi

KARACHI: The bodies of a couple were found dead from their flat in Garden area of the metropolis on Sunday.

Amir, 35, son of Siddique, and his wife Misbah, 30, were found dead at their flat in Garden area. The Garden police shifted the bodies to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for an autopsy.

According to sources, the couple got married eight months ago. Last night, parents of the girl came to meet them as the flat’s door was locked. They broke the door with the help of locals. While entering the flat, they saw both of them dead. They later informed local police about the incident.

According to initial investigation, the cause of deaths was stated to be eating of a poisonous food or drug use. Further investigation was underway.
