COURT: (SC de-seats PML-N’s Sindh MPA)

ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court on Tuesday de-seated Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) member of the Sindh Assembly Masroor Ahmad Jatoi and ordered re-election in PS-23 Naushehro Feroze.

The court court issued the order on the petition filed by Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Feroz Jamali. The petitioner was of the view that NADRA had declared most of the votes cast in the constituency as fake.

He sought the SC to order re-election in the constituency. In another case, the apex court dismissed disqualification petition against PML-N leader Daniyal Aziz.
