ISLAMABAD: Expressing annoyance over Sindh government for not submitting report, the Supreme Court on Thursday directed all the four provinces to submit detailed reports separately over living conditions of women prisoners in different jails of the country.
A three-member bench headed by Justice Mian Saqib Nisar was hearing a case regarding miserable living conditions in jails for women prisoners. During the proceedings, Punjab, Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces submitted initial reports regarding women prisoners and facilities provided to them. The court expressed annoyance over Sindh government for not submitting report and sought detailed reports from all the provinces.
