CPEC (Govt has removed reservations of Balochistan parties on CPEC: Ahsan)

Islamabad: Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal says China-Pakistan Economic Corridor is one of the biggest foreign investments and would bring development and prosperity in the country.

Talking to a private tv channel, he said that the government has removed reservations of all parliamentary parties of Balochistan province regarding CPEC western routes.

Ahsan Iqbal said Balochistan government has also assured full support in completion of the project.

He said that the government is determined to protect the national project as it is a game changer for the country and region.

The Minister said thirty six billion dollars out of total forty six billion dollars would be invested in energy sector by private companies of China.

He made it clear that not a single penny of federal government was being spent in Orange line train project in Punjab.
