KARACHI: Unknown motorcyclists hurled a cracker on a private school situated in Gulshan-e-Iqbal Block No-7, here on Tuesday morning.

However, the school was closed when the cracker was thrown, and fortunately no causality was reported. The assailants also left a threatening letter there.

The letter has a warning of unknown organization that if the police did not stop killing of their activists and the government did not stop hanging the condemned terrorists then they will attack more schools.

Police rushed to the scene and collected evidence.

Residents of the area said that two persons riding a bike threw a cracker and fled from the scene. They said they also threw grey colored pages on which threats were inscribed.

Director General (DG) Rangers Bilal Akbar also visited the school, while Senior Minister of Education Nisar Ahmed Khuhro took the notice and sought a report from AIGP Karachi.
