Defaulters of electricity dues would have to face more load-shedding in coming months: Kh. Asif

SIALKOT: Federal Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Muhammad Asif has hinted out cruel load shedding of electricity in those areas indulged in electricity pilferage and the defaulters of dues, during the coming days ahead.

He stated this while talking to the newsmen at his residence in here Sunday. He said that earlier power pilfering areas have been facing 12 to 14 hours long power outage daily now-a-days. He said now these areas will have to face the harder times in shape of load shedding during the coming months. He said the government was striving to provide maximum uninterrupted electricity to those areas which have been paying their dues regularly.

He urged the nation to avert the unnecessary usage of the electricity in a bid to save the maximum energy. He also asked the traders to close their shops early in the evening by giving a sharing hand to the government in energy conservation.

Replying to a question, Khawaja Asif said that the PTI Chief Imran Khan has not yet accepted his party’s political defeat in 2013 general elections.
