Defence Minister visits shelling hit villages

SIALKOT: Federal Minister for Defence, Water and Power Khawaja Mohammad Asif has said that Pakistan would respond India strongly if it (India) did not stop its hostilities in borer villages along the Sialkot Woking Boundary. He said that now Pakistan would respond effectively against the every Indian war aggression and violation of ceasefire by India. He also visited the Indian shelling hit Sialkot border villages.

He stated this while talking to the newsmen at Sialkot CMH here Saturday after inquiring about the health of the injured persons, the Indian shelling victims there.

Federal Defence Minister said that the Modi Sarkar (Modi government) has become so confused due to the ongoing fresh Hindu-Muslim riots in Indian state Gujarat due to which the Indian government was diverting the attention of the world from the Hindu-Muslim riots by resorting to unprovoked intensified mortar shelling on Sialkot border villages.

He expressed solidarity with the affected villagers, besides, paying rich tributes to their resilience and spirits.

Talking to the newsmen Khawaja Mohammad Asif said that the entire nation stands united along with the armed forces of Pakistan while defending the Motherland.

Local MNA Ch. Armughan Subhani, MLA-AJK Ch. Mohammad Ishaq, MPA Mohammad Asif Bajwa, Sialkot DCO Dr. Asif Tufail and PML-N leaders Sufi Mohammad Ishaq and Ch.Latif Wainse were also present on this occasion.
