The University of Karachi and George Mason University, US are making satisfactory advances in collaboration under the University Partnership Program.
These views were expressed by Li Ping Lo, US Cultural Attache at Karachi who accompanied by Richard Boyum, University Partnership Evaluation Coordinator from US State Department for the provinces of Sindh and Balochistan, visited on Monday, February 16, 2015 to the Department of Public Administration (DPA), University of Karachi.
A group of researchers from DPA led by Dr. Khalid Iraqi, Dean, Faculty of Management & Administrative Sciences, had visited George Mason University in June last year and in the present meeting they shared the knowledge and skills they had picked up from GMU.
In a nearly two-hour discussion, the research students of M.Phil and Ph.D at the DPA exchanged views about their research projects with Li Ping Lo and Richard Boyum.
The guests appreciated the variety of fields of their research and advised all the research scholars to take maximum advantage of the modern research tools and techniques in order to have access to possible genuine findings and conclusions in the interest of the society.
Prof. Dr. Khalid Iraqi and Dr. Shabib ul Hasan, Chairman, DPA presented KU mementos on behalf of the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Qaiser to Li Ping Lo and Richard Boyum with the strong hopes of effective collaboration and mutual cooperation under the University Partnership Program.
