Addressing the crowed, leaders from HBWWF and NTUF said that government would not be allowed to destroy the homes of poor workers. They demanded of government to withdraw this decision of displacing poor people of slum areas.

HBWWF’s General Secretary Zuhra Khan said that the government is opening doors for land grabbers who had been waiting for this land for last three decades.

NTUF president Rafique Baloch said that it is the duty of government under the national housing policy 2001 to provide shelter to the citizens but it is making their citizens homeless.
