Demo held against water scarcity, load shedding

KARACHI: Residents of a Surjani Town project on Wednesday held a protest demonstration outside Karachi Press Club against water scarcity and electricity & gas load shedding. Protesters, carrying placards and banners, were chanting slogans against relevant authorities for not providing required water, gas and electricity to the residents of KMC United Workers Cooperative Housing Society Project-I. They said they were facing the scarcity of water, gas, and electricity since many years but no one was ready to resolve the issue.

Protesters led by Mohammad Asif Siddiqui demanded of Sindh Chief Minister, Governor Ishrat-ul-Ibad and other officials to take a notice of the issue and help resolve it.
