DG PMSA visits Darul Sukoon

KARACHI: Director General Pakistan Maritimes Security Agency (PMSA) Rear Admiral Jameel Akhtar (Hilal-e- Imtiaz) visited Darul Sukoon here in connection with the celebrations of the Independence Day.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that the independence is a great blessing. He said our ancestors got Pakistan after rendering great sacrifices. Paying rich tributes to the father of the nation Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah, he said by following the golden principles of Quaid-e-Azam, they can put Pakistan on the path of progress and prosperity.

He said the brave armed forces are fully prepared to defend the nation and country. He said the zeal and fervour of the nation on the Independence Day was unprecedented.

On the occasion, he praised the administration of Darul Sukoon and added that serving the ailing humanity is not less than prayer. He said that we can seek the mercy and blessing of Allah, the Almighty, by serving special people. He said the special children are our precious asset. He appealed to the philanthropists to support this institute and the special persons.

Earlier, when he reached the Darul Sukoon, special children welcomed him warmly and presented him bouquets. On the occasion, they sung national songs and presented tableaus. The special guest, Rear Admiral Jameel Akhtar, praised the services of general manager of Darul Sukoon Morris Khursheed and presented her special shield of PMSA.

Morris Khursheed welcomed the chief guest on his arrival to the Darul Sukoon. Farhat Shah, Adnan Arsalan, MA Khan and others were also present.
