DG Rangers calls on CS

KARACHI: Director General Pakistan Rangers Sindh Major General Rizwan Akhter on Tuesday met with Chief Secretary Sindh Sajjad Saleem Hotiana, in his office. In the meeting, they discussed the law and order situation and DG rangers apprised the Chief Secretary Sindh regarding the achievements in ongoing operation. The requirements of LEAs were also discussed and the Chief Secretary assured to do the needful.

Hotiana advised Secretary Home Niaz Ali Abbasi to strengthen liaison with all relevant departments for extending cooperation with LEAs as per rules and government policy.

Rizwan Akhtar said that newly posted police officers were being consulted for effective association pertained to improving law and order situation.

He emphasized upon the need-based cooperation. Hotiyana assured possible cooperation from their side for restoring peace and hoped that the province including Karachi should become peaceful, soon.
