Dip: (International Seminar held in Indonesia to commemorate Kashmir Solidarity Day)

ISLAMABAD: Kashmir Solidarity Forum in Jakarta (Indonesia) organized a Seminar on 5th February 2015 at Penyelenggara Politeknik LP3I, Jakarta to commemorate Kashmir Solidarity Day.

According to a press statement issued here on Friday, over 200 Indonesian University Students attended the Seminar in which a documentary on Kashmir Issue was shown to the students and printed material was distributed among them.

Dr. Zahir Khan, the Chairman, Kashmir Solidarity Forum, Indonesia, explained to the Indonesian students, the history and principle of partition of India and Pakistan. Syed Zahid Raza, Pakistan’s Charge de Affairs in Jakarta, traced the roots of conflicts and and shed light on efforts of the government and people of Pakistan in support of Kashmiri’s right of self determination.

Dr.H.M.Syahrial Yusuf, Chairman of LP31 Institute welcomed the students to the Seminar to understand Kashmir Dispute. The speakers later replied to various questions asked by the Indonesian Students at the end of the Seminar.
