Diplomatic: (Pak-UK agree to boost bilateral ties)

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif says that scope of cooperation exists between Pakistan and Britain Trade, Investment and Education sectors. He was talking to British Secretary of State for Defence Michael Fallon here on Wednesday.

Matters pertaining to regional situation and bilateral matters figured during the meeting. The Prime Minister congratulated the British Secretary on winning new elections by the conservatives and asked him to communicate the same to British Prime Minister.

Both sides agreed on cooperation between the two countries under the Enhanced Strategic Dialogue. The British Secretary of Defence underlined the importance of bilateral relations with Pakistan. This relationship continues to deepen in the interest of both the nations. He appreciated the role of Pakistani Diaspora in Britain.
