Diplomatic (President for highlighting Pak’s liberal investment policy)

Islamabad: President Mamnoon Hussain has underscored the need for highlighting Pakistan’s liberal investment policy and called for efforts to convince New Zealand companies to invest in sectors of agriculture, dairy, livestock, and renewable energy in Pakistan.

The President said this while talking to Pakistan’s High Commissioner-designate to New Zealand, Mr. Afrasiab Mehdi Hashmi, who called on him at the Aiwan-e-Sadr, Islamabad on Wednesday.

The President called for expanding trade ties in diverse sectors as vast opportunities exist to realize the true potential.

The President asked the High Commissioner-designate to make efforts for early consideration of market access for Pakistani mangoes by New Zealand as granted by the latter to other countries.
