Diplomatic:(Pakistan, Canada underscore need to build long-term bilateral ties)

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Canada have underscored the need to build a broad-based, long-term and sustainable bilateral partnership.

This was agreed between Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Tariq Fatemi and Canadian parliamentarian Salma Zahid here on Tuesday.

They agreed to make efforts for easing difficulties being faced by Pakistani traders and businessmen in obtaining the Canadian visa and encouraging business community to participate in trade fairs in the two countries. Salma Zahid lauded the services of around five hundred thousand strong Pakistani diaspora across Canada.
