District: (Arrangements in full swing to celebrate Jashan-e-Eid Milaad ul Nabi (S.A.W.W.)

SIALKOT: Arrangements have been finalized to celebrate Jashan-e-Eid Milaad ul Nabi (S.A.W.W.) with traditional zeal, enthusiasm and religious fervor here in Sialkot today (Thursday).

As many as 75 central processions, 963 small processions and more than 1100 rallies will be taken out by the people and religious parties in Sialkot district’s all the four Sialkot, Daska, Sambrial and Pasrur tehsils, amid tight security. More than 3000 policemen have been deputed to secure these processions and rallies.

According to the details, the people celebrate Eid Milaad-ul-Nabi (Peace Be Upon Him) with religious reverence and fervor renewing the pledge to follow true teachings of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH).

The day began with special prayers for development, safety, peace, unity and brotherhood amongst the followers of Holy Prophet (PBUH). Special security arrangements had been made to maintain law and order in Sialkot district’s all the four Sialkot, Daska, Sambrial and Pasrur tehsils on the occasion of 12th Rabi-ul-Awal.

The religious parties will arrange Seerat Conferences, special ‘Naatia Mushairas’ and quiz programmes on Seerat-e-Mustafa (PBUH). All major government and private buildings, residential and commercial plazas, markets, mosques, roundabouts and even houses were tastefully decorated.

Mahaafil-e-Milad and public meetings will be held in different parts of the Sialkot district, while faithful were actively participated in the programs organized by different local, religious and social organizations.

Na’at and the Holy Quran reciting competitions will also be held throughout the day in almost every nook and corner of the Sialkot district to revive the real spirit of Islam and offer respect to the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him). Milaad processions will be taken out from different areas of Sialkot district, reciting Na’ats and Darood-o-Salam for the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him). Selected Ulema and scholars will present their articles on this year’s theme “Preaching strategy in the light of Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) teachings.”

Besides, such conferences will also be held to pay respect and homage to Allah Almighty’s Last Messenger. Congregations were organized in all important places of the district where the preachers and scholars highlighted the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) besides delivering lectures on His way of life.

For faithful, Eid Milaad-ul-Nabi is a highly regarded religious festival when they express gratitude and thank to Allah Almighty for blessing the universe with His last messenger and Prophet Hazrat Mohammad (Peace Be Upon Him).
