District: Moonis Elahi criticizes government‘s policies

Sialkot: The Central Leader of PML-Q Ch. Moonis Elahi has said that present rulers’ Indian favoured policies were proving as cut throat for national economy especial agriculture of Pakistan, saying that the Pakistan government was intending to develop the strong friendship with India, as the India was making Pakistani lands as barren by stopping the water in the rivers flowing towards Pakistan since 2008.

He stated this while addressing an electoral meeting of PML-Q candidate Rana Muhammad Ikhtisar at village Talwandi Bhindaraan-Narowal in connection with the May 22, 2014 by polls in constituency PP-136 here.

Ch. Moonis Elahi said that the incumbent rulers have given the gifts of sky-rocketing price hike, unemployment and unending loadshedding of electricity and gas.

He said that it was out big misfortune that the agriculture sector of the country is getting weaker day by day due to failed policies of the PML-N government. He said that our crops were standing in our fields while the Indian agri products were continuously reaching in our markets.

He asked the PML-N government to end its silence over the prolonged Indian water aggression to save our fertile lands from become barren due to Indian water scarcity, saying that it should be an eye opener for the present rulers that the India was establishing maximum dams to store the water to be released towards Pakistan by India, in this regard.

He said that the PML-N government has miserably failed in fulfilling its political promises and to give any relief to the people, due to which the graph of poverty was rising day by day in the country, forcing the poor people to commit suicide or sell their children as well.
