District: PTI’s workers hold protest against brutal assault

Chakwal: The workers of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PTI) on Tuesday came out on roads and held protested against the brutal assault at Minhaj-ul-Quran secretariat Lahore.

Hundreds of enthusiast male and female workers assembled at the office of Pakistan Awami Tehreek Talagang road Chakwal and they held a protest rally and marched on the various roads of the city.

They were chanting slogans against Punjab Govt. the rally when reached at Bhoun Chowk Chakwal they made a sit in and sit in was converted into a public meeting and it was addressed by Dr. Sohail Janjua and others.

The rally was led by Malik Ehsan Mehfooz and Abdul Ghafoor Sheikh. Later on sit in was dispersed peacefully. Heavy contingent of Police was deployed however no on toward incident took place.
