District: (Punjab Govt would soon establish 1000 population welfare centers)

SIALKOT: The Punjab government would soon establish as many as 1000 population welfare centers across the Punjab, out of which the work for the early establishment of 250 such centers was rapidly in progress, where people would be motivated about the controlling of population growth.

Director General Population Welfare Punjab Naeemud Din Rathor disclosed this while talking to the local officials during his visit to population welfare department here.

District Officer Population Welfare Sialkot Nadeem Ahmed Chatta, local notables and senior journalists were also present on this occasion.

DG Population Welfare Punjab added that country could not develop without controlling the population growth, saying that all the segments of the society should come forward to play their pivotal role in motivating the people to control the population growth by adopting the family planning methods as well.
