District: SCCI official website hacked

Sialkot: Some hackers have hacked the official website of the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI). The hackers have also left their message on the SCCI website’s profile that they have high jacked the SCCI official website http://scci.com.pk  with a sole aim to inform the SCCI about their low security in IT section.

The hackers have claimed “we are the students and legends of Sambrial”, urging the SCCI management to patch SCCI security holes, otherwise we will hack this website again and again.

The hackers named as Awais, Mohsin and Suleman also narrated that they love Iqbal’s city and also love their city Sambrial. Their added that their purpose of hacking SCCI official website was not to disturb any one , but to remind the SCCI management to secure this site by patching the vulnerable holes, in this regard.

The hackers claimed that they had been running their group in Sambrial under the name Sambrial White Hat Hackers Crew. As many as 7000 registered members of Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) and their worldwide clients have been suffering from great difficulties after the hacking of SCCI website.

Meanwhile, President Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) Dr. Sarfraz Bashir has expressed grave concern over the hacking of SCCI official website by some hackers. He assured that the hacked website would soon be retrieved, as the IT experts of SCCI were trying to resolve the issue.
