DUHS VC visits Ojha Campus

KARACHI: A welcome ceremony was held to honour acting Vice Chancellor, Prof M Umar Farooq on Thursday at Dow University Ojha Campus.

Senior faculty members, including Prof M Masroor, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Prof Shaikh Nadeem Ahmed, Registrar, HoDs, Administrative Staff, students accorded a warm welcome to Prof M Umar Farooq and presented bouquets.

Addressing the Ceremony, Prof Dr Farooq explained the mission and vision of the university. He thanked all the faculty members and colleagues to their support. He appreciated the efforts of Prof Masood Hameed Khan, founding Vice Chancellor, DUHS for the new developments and bringing the university at this level. He informed that it is the hard work and dedication of the entire team.

He also welcomed faculty members for giving their suggestions and feedback in the administrative decision of the university. He requested all the faculty members and administrative staff to continue their work with same pace. He stressed for collaborative work and efforts for the progress of the university.

Earlier, he also visited Ojha Institute of Chest Diseases where he was given a warm welcome. In the end, Registrar Prof Shaikh Nadeem and Pro VC Prof M Masroor presented the bouquets to the new Vice Chancellor.
