Earthquake jolts parts of KPK and Punjab

ISLAMABAD: An earthquake with 5.8-magnitude on the Richter scale hit several parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab on Saturday afternoon, creating panic among people. The epicentre of the earthquake was the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan.

The earthquake jolted Peshawar, Khyber Agency, Bajaur Agency, Waziristan, Islamabad, Lahore, Sargodha, Abbottabad, Faisalabad, Gujranwala and other. No causalities reported till filing the report.
