Islamabad: Bahria University’s Alumni Association in collaboration with CDA initiated “Plant for a Greener Pakistan” campaign on the eve of Independenace day. The event was organized in accordance with the Independence Day celebrations, making an effort to create awareness about the importance of plantation for a Healthy Nation.

The Activity generated great enthusiasm among participants ( Bahrian Alumni and CDA Officials) who planted more than 60+ Plants at F-8 green belt near telephone exchange. Senior officials of CDA also graced the occasion and appreciated the efforts of Bahrians alumni association.

At the occasion BUAA members expressed their great passion & love for the country and emphasized on the need of creating an environment friendly and Greener Pakistan. The Participants also chanted slogans of Pakistan Zindabad and sang mili nagmas to rekindle the Pakistani Spirit.

Earlier a flag hoisting ceremony was also arranged at BU Islamabad Campus which was attended by Management, Faculty members, Bahrians Alumni and Present students.
