Eid Meelad-un-Nabi celebrated at NEDUET

KARACHI: NED University of Engineering and Technology’s employees on Monday celebrated Eid Meelad-un-Nabi, the birth day of last Prophet of Islam Hazarat Mohammad (PBUH) here, at the University’s main Auditorium.

The Eid Meelad-un-Nabi ceremony was presided over by varsity’s Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mohammad Afzal Haque. It was organized by Employees Meelad Committee. The ceremony was attended by Registrar Prof Ghazanfar Hussan, NETA’s President Prof Dr Usman Ali Shah and large number of male and female students and faculty members.

A religious gathering was addressed by KU’s Prof Majeedullah Qadri while the Naat singers Moulana Nasir Siddiqui and Mehmood-ul-Hassan were invited for singing Naats.
