Envoy: (Dialogue imperative to resolve problems in Middle East: Pakistan)

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Permanent Representative at the United Nations Dr Maleeha Lodhi on Wednesday said that dialogue is imperative to resolve problems in Middle Eastern countries.

This she said while taking part in the discussion at the UN Security Council in New York.

She said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is making efforts to promote harmony in the region.

She pointed out that the Prime Minister made efforts to end tension between Saudi Arabia and Iran. She emphasized that OIC can play an important role in ending conflict and for durable peace in the region.
