Ex-MPA denounces attacks on churches

KARACHI: Former Member Provincial Assembly Sindh Saleem Khursheed Khokhar and Global Human Rights Association Alliance Chairperson Ms. Jacqueline Sultan Advocate have condemned the attack on churches in Lahore on Sunday, where at least 15 people were killed and more than 75 injured.

Khokhar regretted that the government and the local administration had made no adequate security arrangements to protect the lives of the Christians. They said attacks on minorities would only create anarchy and bring a bad name to the country. They said the present government had also failed to curb terrorist activities in the country.

They demanded a high-level inquiry into the killings and arrest of the murderers.
