Karachi: Faraz Khan, CEO & Co-Founder SEED Ventures, a social, entrepreneurship & equity development company, with a strong presence in
Pakistan, the UK, the UAE & Sri Lanka, has been selected for CSCLeaders to be held in the UK in April, and later in Nairobi in August to end Part Two of the program.
CSCLeaders is an annual global leadership program which assembles 100 exceptional senior leaders selected from government, businesses and NGOs across the 53 countries of the Commonwealth. It is an opportunity to tackle major challenges that businesses, governments and society face today, develop one’s Cultural Intelligence and build the global relationships needed by the leaders of tomorrow.
The program is a partnership between the international leadership development organisation Common Purpose and HRH The Duke of Edinburgh’s Commonwealth Study Conferences (UK Fund).
Each year there is a globally relevant challenge; in 2015 the challenge is ‘What makes a city smart?’
Faraz, a UK-based Pakistani entrepreneur and investor, is passionate about bringing to life innovative solutions for improving the socio-economic landscape and developing the entrepreneurial ecosystem of the country and beyond. He believes in bringing the best practices to the region and community engagement at all levels in order to create maximum social impact.
Faraz intends to create a platform in Pakistan with the public, private and development sectors starting a campaign for Karachi as a smart city as pilot project.
