Fata Youth Festival to begin on Wednesday to promote positive and healthy activities among the tribal youth.

Peshawar: Under the directives of the Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sardar Mahtab Ahmad Khan, the first Governor Fata Youth Festival will begin on Wednesday (today) to promote positive and healthy activities among the tribal youth.

The opening ceremony of the festival will be held at Qayyum Stadium, Peshawar. The slogan of the festival was sports for peace. At least 30 traditional sporting events and 1785 FATA players would participate in the festival. Besides,

food stalls, art shows and a grand mushaira will also feature in the weeklong festival. Most of the activities would be held at Qayyum Stadium, Peshawar, some of the events would also take place in Khyber, Bajaur and Mohmand agencies.

All necessary arrangements for the festival has been finalized while the Qayyum Stadium, Peshawar was decorated with elegant lighting, national flags and an open stage was placed at the podium of stadium.

The opening ceremony will be attended by parliamentarians, tribal elders, young players and other personalities had also been invited to attend the youth festival. The concluding ceremony of the festival will be held on December 30.
