QUETTA: Frontier Corps troops recovered large quantity of arms and ammunition in Chitkan Bazaar against Baloch terrorist organisations. This operation was conducted against banned Baloch terrorist organisations involved in abduction for ransom, attacks on security forces and killing of innocent people in District Panjgur and adjacent areas.
FC source said here Sunday on authentic reports FC troops launched a search operation in Panjgur Bazaar against banned Baloch terrorists organisations. During the operation large quantity arms and ammunition was recovered from hideouts and houses of terrorists. Recovered arms and ammunition included SMGs (5), magazines (17), rounds (1015), LMG (1), rounds (43), 8 mm rifles along with 373 rounds, 303 gun (1), RPG-7 launchers (2) with rounds (2), energa grenades (25), fuse (2), pistils and magazines (2), Motorola set with base, mobile phones (2), cpu (1), motorcycles (3) and vehicles (5).
It is added here that most wanted terrorists of banned Baloch terrorists organisations were involved in attacks on security forces, abduction for ransom, killing of innocent people and dacoities. Terrorists from Balochistan Liberation Army, Baloch Republican Army and Balochistan Liberation Front not only pitch innocent Baloch people with each other for their ulterior motives but they oftenly target innocent citizens to create fear in the area. They have turned the area into heaps of explosives and sale and purchase of arms and ammunitions was openly going on in homes.
FC on the basis of secret report has launched operation and it is hoped soon Panjgur and adjoining areas would be cleansed of terrorists.
