Federal Budget to be presented today

Islamabad: Finance Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar will present federal budget for the fiscal year 2014-2015 in the National Assembly today(Tuesday) at 4:30 pm.

The President has already summoned the National Assembly to meet on Tuesday for the purpose.

All necessary arrangements have been made for smooth conduct of the budget session. After a four-day break the House will begin general debate on the budget.

As per democratic traditions, the opposition parties will be given maximum time to express their view points on budget allocations in the House.

Apart from diplomats and other dignitaries, first time President Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Zakaria Usman, Zonal Chairman FPCCI Islamabad, Munawar Mughal, VP SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry Pak Chapter Iftikhar Ali Malik have also been invited to witness the budget session proceedings.
