Final Four killed, three injured in Karachi violence

KARACHI: Four persons were killed and three others injured in separate violence incidents in the city on Sunday. A criminal was killed in alleged police encounter at Faqeer Mohammad road, Nawa Lane. Station House Officer (SHO) Kalakot reported that an encounter took place between police and criminals of Lyari gangwar, resultantly a criminal of Lyari gangWar Khalil alias Lalu, aged about 20-year, was killed. One TT pistol with 5 rounds was also recovered from his possession, the SHO said. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for an atopsy.

In another incident, a 33-year-old person was found dead Raxor Bridge in the limit of Pak Colony. The body was shifted to JPMC for an autopsy.

Yet in another incident, Liaqat, 45, son of Ishaq, resident of Korangi crossing, was killed by unknown armed men Korangi crossing in Allah Wala town. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre JPMC for an autopsy.

Separately, Hassan Raza, 25, was killed and Haq Nawaz, resident of Baldia town, injured in infighting between two groups in Manzoor colony, Mehmoodabad. The body and injured were shifted to JPMC for an autopsy and treatment respectively.

Meanwhile, Ayaz, son of Sheraz, was injured in a dispute between two groups near Bilal restaurant in New Town Jamshheed road. The injured was rushed to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for treatment.

Furthermore, Hamid, 25 son of Abdul Ghaffar, was shot and injured by unknown armed men in Gulshan-e-Noor, Surjani Town. The injured was rushed to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for treatment.
