Firing on Wasim Akram’ car in Karachi

KARACHI: Unknown gunman opened firing on the car of former captain of Pakistan Cricket Team Wasim Akram in Karsaz area here on Wednesday; however, fortunately, the cricket star was unhurt.

According to police, an unknown car first hit the car of Wasim Akram and later a man in that car opened firing at his car. Police said they were probing the matter.

While talking to media Wasim Akram said a car crashed into my vehicle and when I asked its driver to pull over, he stepped out and opened fire. He said this man looked like an official. “I have noted down the vehicle’s number and given it to the police,” Akram said.
