First Hajj arrives at Peshawar airport

Peshawar: First Haj flight carrying 308 passengers arrived at Peshawar’s Bacha Khan Airport here at 10.pm on Thursday. Director Hajj Peshawar Shakeel Ahmad Sethi welcomed the pilgrims and congratulated them for performing the sacred duty. Despite strict security measures and obstacles for the visitors large number of family members thronged to airport to give warm welcome to their near and dears.

Most of those pilgrims arrived on Saudi Airline have performed Hajj through private Tour operators who according to them had provided them very poor services to the pilgrims at the holly place urging the government to regulate these tour operators and bound them to provide best services to their client during hajj.

Some of the Hujaj said they were unable to bring Zam Zam water as their 10 liter cans were not allowed with them by the administration of Saudi Airline at Jadda Airport. They complained tour operators should have informed them about the policy of Saudi Airline.
