Five among three siblings dies in road mishaps

KARACHI: Five persons, including three minor siblings, died in separate road mishaps here on Thursday.

Three minors siblings – a girl, Maryam, 5; Usman, 7; Basit, 5 – daughter and sons of Nazeer, died when a fast-moving water tanker went out of control and rammed into a wall that collapsed, killing three children in D1 bus stop in Abidabad. The bodies were shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for medico-legal formalities.

In another incident, a youth, Raheel, 24, son of Ansar Ahmed, was killed when a fast-moving vehicle hit him near Civic Centre. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for an autopsy.

Yet in another incident, a youth, Haris, 20, son of Shair Mohammad, was killed when a fast-moving dumper hit him in Water Pump Chowrangi. The body was shifted to a private hospital.
