Five gunned down in city

KARACHI: Five people were killed in separate incidents of firing in the city on Wednesday. One Muhammad Tariq, 35, son of Muhammed Sheikh, was killed when unidentified gunmen opened fire on him near Alhamd Medical Store in Dastagir, Block 16, Federal B Area. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities.

Two unidentified people, aged 28 and 30, were shot dead by unknown gunmen near Lyari Expressway, Garden. The bodies were taken to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for an autopsy.

Separately, two unknown people, aged 30 and 35, were killed when unidentified assailants opened fire on them near Jodia Bazar at Prethan Square in Kharadar area. The bodies were shifted to CHK for postmortem examination.
