Five, including cop, Killed in Karachi violence

KARACHI: Five people, including a policeman, were killed in different violence incidents in metropolis on Wednesday.

A policeman, Mohammad Sajid, 35, son of Mohammad Suleman, was gunned down in Korangi No 51/C near Navy Dewar. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for a postmortem.

Two unidentified men, aged 25 and 35, were shot dead by unidentified armed men on Super Highway near Ganna Mandi. The bodies were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for autopsies.

A woman, Yasmeen, 34, was gunned down by unidentified armed men in Ali Goth, Ibrahim Haidri. The body was shifted to JPMC for medico-legal formalities.

A man, Iqbal Alam, an anti-corruption personnel, was gunned down by armed men at Water Pump in FB Area. The body was shifted to ASH for an autopsy.
