Five killed in separate mishaps

KARACHI: Five people were killed in different mishap in the metropolis on Tuesday.

A man, Faizan, 28, son of Mohammad Aslam, was killed when a speeding vehicle hit him in Street 7, Defence Phase 1. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for an autopsy.

Nooruddin, 40, son of Din Mohammad, died when a speeding vehicle hit him near Power House Chowrangi in North Karachi. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for medico-legal formalities.

A youth, Abdul Wahab, 22, son of Yousaf, was killed by a speeding vehicle hit him near Honda Company in Shershah. The body was taken to Civil Hospital Karachi for an autopsy.

In another road mishap, Muzaffar Khan, 65, son of Abdullah Khan died when a vehicle hit him near Ayesha Bawani College in Shahrah-e-Faisal. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for medico-legal formalities.

A 35-year-old man committed suicide to consuming poisonous substance in Al Asif area of Sohrab Goth. The body was shifted to (ASH) for a postmortem.
