Five killed, two injured in city violence

KARACHI: Five people include four members of a family were killed and two others injured in separate violence incidents in the metropolis on Wednesday.

Four members of a family, Tariq, 43, son of Khuda Bakhsh, his wife, Samina, 40, his teenage son, Saad, 15, daughter, Romesa, 13, were stabbed to death, while his another son, six-year-old Hammad sustain injuries near Allahwali Masjid at street No 13, sector H in Manzoor Colony. The bodies and injured were shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for autopsies and treatment, respectively.

25-year-old unidentified youth was gunned down by unknown armed men in Razzaqabad. The body was shifted to JPMC for medico-legal formalities.

A youth, Baseer, 25, son of Khalil, was shot and injured by unidentified gunmen in Al Asif Square area of Sohrab Goth. He was taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for treatment.
