Flights resumed at Karachi airport

Karachi: Regular flights have been resumed at Karachi Airport, said Airport Security Force (ASF) spokesman Col Tahir, deputy director general ASF on Tuesday.

Talking to media he said two terrorists had tried to enter the base camp of ASF entering from a nearby Katchi Abadi of Bhitaiabad. They also opened firing but fled after security agencies took action. He said the terrorists did not attack or managed to enter then camp area. He said normal flights have been resumed and search operation was launched in slum surrounding areas.
