ISLAMABAD: Foreign Office on Thursday said Pakistan and India are in touch with each other to finalize date for Foreign Secretary-level talks.

Addressing a weekly news briefing here, FO spokesperson Qazi Khalilullah said joint efforts are required for elimination of terrorism from the region.

To a question, he said the government is in contact with the Chinese government for the implementation of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor project.

To another question, he said the Afghan government has been asked to investigate terror attack on Pakistani consulate in Jalalabad and share its results. The spokesman said Pakistan and Iran enjoy good brotherly and neighbourly relations.

He said it is expected that Saudi Arabia and Iran will solve their issues through peaceful means.
