Food team raids two factories, recover hoarded wheat

KARACHI: A special team of Food Department Sindh raided two factories in Moro and recovered 37000 wheat bags which were illegally stored.

According to details, a special team of food department Sindh along with Deputy Director Food Rafiq Rajpar and District Food Controller Muhammad Bachal Shah raided Moro Lal Shahbaz Factory and Ali Cotton Factory, and recovered 20000 and 17000 wheat bags respectively.

In a statement issued here on Wednesday, Provincial Minister for Food Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar has directed the officers to speed up the campaign against hoarders.

He said that the hoarding was illegal and those involved in hoarding were the enemies of the people and the food department would bring them to the task.
